“Priscilla, Max, Beast and I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah. One of my favorite things about our Facebook community is how people share happiness and joy. With friends and loved ones around you, you have an opportunity to reflect on the entire good things in your life. I hope the light of your friendships will continuously enlighten your life and our whole world.”

According to Quartz, during the holiday period Mark Zuckerberg told a Facebook user that he is not an atheist. Zuckerberg had previously described himself as a person who did not believe in God. Mark Zuckerberg is a founder and CEO of social networking site Facebook.

When Zuckerberg posted his holiday message on Facebook on December 25, a Facebook user commented: Aren’t you an atheist? Zuckerberg’s reply was: No. I was raised Jewish and then I went through a period where I questioned things, but now I believe religion is very important.”

Quartz reports that for several years Zuckerberg referred himself as an atheist on his Facebook page. In 2015, Zuckerberg visited China. During his stay in China, he visited Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi’ and prayed. At that time he told that Buddhism was a wonderful religion and philosophy. “Over the years, I have been learning more about Buddhism,” he said, “I hope to understand the faith more deeply.”
