LAPORTE – The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting northwest Indiana residents to the Kickoff for the inaugural Michigan City Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Kickoff will be held on Wednesday, August 31, from 5:30-7:00PM at Horizon Bank, 1500 W. Lincolnway in LaPorte.

Representatives and Volunteers from the Alzheimer’s Association will be on hand to explain the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and how to get involved. Participants will also learn fun tips at the “Fundraising Fair.”

The Team Kickoff is being sponsored by Horizon Bank, the Alzheimer’s Association and various local companies.  Reservations are recommended as light refreshments will be served.  For more information or to RSVP, please call the Alzheimer’s Association Helpline at 800-272-3900.
